His Mission

Archbishop Heerey CSSp was born on the 29th November 1890 in the village of Clonkeefy, County Cavan, in the diocese of Kilmore in Ireland. Born into a fervent Irish Catholic family, his parents, Patrick and Rose Anne Heerey baptized their little baby boy, Charles, a day after his birth, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Castlerahan. It was in this parish Church that the boy Charles received his first Holy Communion and joined his colleagues to serve mass as altar server, while he was growing up......
